The story of a house painter, recalcitrant village bachelor and a sickly village girl with whom he lives in wild marriage. The whole village participates in comic plot which emerges because of the girl's burning desire to marry the house painter. This is not very easy to achieve, because he likes to carouse in taverns, with lady-singers. Finally, after great efforts, her wishes comes true...
